Lovely old building with cosy log fire. Stopped in for a midday pint on a walk from Didcot to Abingdon which was very nice.
A really beautiful quaint quiet pub in a beautiful village. Great beers on tap and a proper lovely local vibe.
Great pub in the heart of the village, really good range of beers , very clean bar area and a Greek food van outside as a special food night on the Friday that we were there
First rate pub in a village in Oxfordshire on the Cask Marque Ale. a Grade II listed 16th century pub. This reviewer approached the place on a small craft via the River Thames (a very agreeable way to travel the Trail) to continue his travels on the biggest ale trail in the world. The beer? Two local brews were tried, Abingdon Bridge and Rude Not To, were both in excellent condition and well deserving the Accreditation awarded. Worth several more visits.
Best pudding I have had this year. Though the staff are friendly and relaxed they were not ready to serve. Also there dog sitting there starring at you while you eat is not good, as he snorts at you. Taken away via kitchen area
