Just came in at lunch time mid week so not busy. Good friendly service. Food in a basket meals available, good value, and lovely.
We’ve stopped over for lunch as the menu displayed next to front entrance looked promising but we’re told that they don’t serve food. That’s all not even a further explanation on why or when will they start serving. Nothing. Very rude service! Would not recommend!
This is a cosy bar/restaurant with a log fire, great for the winter , staff friendly and helpful, good choice for beers and wines, food looked lovely, but didn't get a chance to try it , maybe next time,dogs are allowed, and this made our visit easier, thank you for a lovely welcome
One of our locals with new owners so still getting to grips with things. For the size of bar good choice of beers & spirits. Meals are good and there is a huge beer garden. Weekend music as well.
We came here for dinner. We sat outside because we have a dog and were told we couldn't eat off of the menu - we could only have basket meals which consisted of chicken nuggets, burgers and pizza. It was basically like eating from the freezer - chicken nuggets, chips, onion rings, pizza. No salad offered. Disappointing. The meals inside looked much nicer.
