Since opening it’s doors in 2006, Garbutts has won many awards and accolades from both our customers and our peers in the bar industry. We are still here serving up cold beers and gastro pub food.

Garbutts is a fusion of vintage glamour and contemporary socialising with its retro brick interior quirky light shades and chunky wooden furniture Garbutts offers a chic cosy and characterful mix.

Fantastic barmaid Lucy, served me on 07/09/2023. Took her time despite busy to get my rekorderlig right, seemed to care about if I'd enjoy but friendly and caring , perfect barmaid. Food looked wonderful and an amazing place . Princes avenue the place to be.

Hands down the worse food I’ve ever had! £105 spent, 3 of the meals we ordered, the fish and chips looked liked they had been fried 5 times over, nearly lost my teeth never complained in my life but this was shocking. Poor.

I have been here for a Christmas meal and that was okay. This was just a lazy midweek afternoon pub meal and they have definitely upped their game. Although service was not the fastest the food was very nice. I had the Haddock and it was very well cooked and presented. I liked the place it was an afternoon so maybe not the best time to soak up the atmosphere. Drinks nice and cold and delivered quickly. Will definitely come back and try another vegetarian meal. The choice of non meat meals not massive which is a shame.

The food here is amazing, cooked to perfection and beautifully delivered. Service was great and staff were really friendly. Great value for money. Would highly recommend this restaurant
