Got our booking confused however, staff and management were highly accomodating and resolved the problem instantly. Staff were attentive and lovely! The bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Sunday dinner was amazing! Very good! And food in general were topnotch. They’re facilities were really good too! Would come back again ❤️
Don't get the lamb hot pot. We went here today... It was my partner's and I, first time here.. I ordered the lamb hot pot. £18.95.. Which consists of A small ramekin of just gravy, one bit of lamb fat... No meat, with 3 finely sliced pieces of potato on top. The first one was sent back as it had less than described and came back without much improvement. It comes with a halfed baby carrot and a tiny spoon of cabbage. I went home and made myself some dinner... As gravy soup didn't touch the sides. I noticed that other items on the menu had either huge portions, just right or next to nothing. No consistency with portions sizes despite all being similar prices. I ordered an espresso and a cappuccino arrived. In the conservatory my partner and his mum had the sun in their eye's as the blinds don't do anything. Wouldn't recommend. *edit to the generic response... We wouldn't come back, as it was a birthday meal with my partner's parent's... It was just embarrassing nearly £20 for literally nothing. It was a horrible experience. As even my partner's mother complained and was concerned. (she never complains... And it was her birthday meal) When the first hot pot was sent back... The young server said that she thought, it looked like there was nothing in there.. If it hadn't of been my partner's mother's birthday, also if I was paying... I would of requested a refund and eaten else where. Even going to the ladies at the end of the "meal" only one toilet locked out of the three. The food that did come out was average. Really wouldn't recommend this place.
Had dinner here after the evening spa. Food was amazing - really high quality, portions were massive, presentation was lovely - very fancy! The staff were so friendly and helpful too. Would definitely recommend eating here.
Excellent pub serving a wide range of food covering all dietary requirements. We ordered vegan food and they noticed we had ordered the none vegan mash. Quite rightly they checked to see if it was a mistake (it was). Excellent service and good attention to detail. Wednesday is quiz night which was well run and good fun. Each week night they do a special which is good value, Wednesday was pie and a pint for £15
This wonderful location was booked for step daughters wedding over the weekend. Food was amazing, service excellent, location breathtaking. Only negative was basic room is basic, but the price wasn't! Deluxe rooms and suites were better and priced accordingly.
