We always enjoy a trip to the Fuzzy Duck - food is consistently good and service is always friendly. Service a little slow today, but normally faultless. Definitely worth a trip for a good Sunday lunch too.

We had a fantastic meal here. The food was delicious and the portion sizes generous. They have a lovely kids menu and the main menu had great non-meat options as part of a wide range of tasty-sounding dishes. We will definitely visit again!

A lovely inn, set in a pretty edge of Cotswolds village, with really pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms are well appointed, clean and nicely decorated. We stayed in the Buff Orpington room which had a huge bed and a lovely bathroom with a roll top bath, heated floor and fully stocked with Baylis & Harding amenities. Tea and coffee facilities were available in the room and a good quality breakfast was provided. A couple of minor issues were: (1) Walls and floor a bit thin, with music and chatting heard from the bar/restaurant below and I heard a chap snoring in the room next door; (2) Full English breakfast was great but could have been hotter; (3) No shower in our room; (4) Carpark not the biggest and fills up quickly. But overall a really nice place to stay and we’d definitely be back.

We stopped in for a Saturday lunch and couldn't be happier with the experience. In a lovely little village it kept that charm but still felt modern and sophisticated inside. The menu was impressive, portions weren't huge but that kept the prices sensible without affecting quality. Staff were helpful and attentive. Well worth a visit

This meal was booked six days in advance as a special treat, and as we had seen the idyllic location of The Fuzzy Duck, and a handful of decent reviews, we decided to take the plunge. Unfortunately, this establishment did not meet our expectations in the slightest. A person can put as many stars and bows on it as they like, but one can't escape the fact that the staff are blatantly rude, and our experience here was ghastly. On arrival, we entered the establishment and instead of a pleasant greeting, we were immediately told our table needed to be returned within the hour. This is not how you treat customers. We booked this table six days ago, so if someone was due at 8:15pm, someone should have phoned to inform us, and asked us if we could come earlier in the evening, not treat us like second class citizens on the doorstep. It was a very disappointing start. We were shown to our table, given drinks, ordered our meal, and because we didn't have time for starters, we went straight to mains. They came out fast, which I knew was because they wanted us finished as soon as possible so they could have their table. Well, the food was not cooked to our expectations. The chips were undercooked and the sausages were nearly raw in the middle, making my daughter rather upset and she left feeling unwell. We informed the waitress who didn't seem interested, ran off to tell the chef, and then never returned. The icing on the cake was the disgusting service charge slapped on top of an already pricey meal, of which we had to shove down our necks because staff needed their precious table back for people more important than ourselves. This place needs a shake-up, especially in the communication side of things, and in the kitchen. We have never been made to feel so unwanted, but at least they made a few quid out of us this evening. I will only recommend this place to people I dislike.
