This is a great place to stay and to eat. Look out for the deals they highlight on their Facebook page. (They are limited to certain times.) Two people and four dogs cost me £119 or without the dogs it would have been £99. Included in the deal were our 3 course evening meals and breakfast. The portions aren't stingy either. I'd recommend the food and staff to anyone. It's dog friendly with 3 large rooms out the back so you don't have to worry about disturbing other guests. You can walk them through the village or to Ballintoy bay to see the lime kilns and wee bay that was used in games of thrones.

Stayed here for one night in a dog friendly room which was a great size room that had two comfy chairs to sit on plus a dressing table and chair. The bed was super size and also had 4 bunk beds. The bathroom was big but was badly set up. The toilet was stuck in a corner facing a wall and the shower was very slow running with just a curtain on it. There are no shelves to put any of your toiletries on. They say there are free toiletries but there was no shampoo or conditioner. When we arrived there was no one to check us in and I had to get a staff member who was on a break to come and do it. We had a lovely lunch of soup and wheaten bread. Dinner that night wasn't great I ordered the turkey dinner which was sent out to me over cooked and dried out which I'm sure the chef and the waitress saw. When I spoke to the manager she sorted this out very professionally which saved the day I would also say you pay extra for the dog but they do not provide anything you have to bring your own food, water bowls and bedding. Why do they charge extra for the dog?

They catered here for loads of coaches, how they do it I know not. Food was delicious. I had beef and ale pie with no fatty or gristle but - totally scummy. The fish chowder looked divine and was quite envious. Tables, chairs and overall decor could do with a revamp but who cares when food and service that good!

Were accommodated at very late notice. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Lovely evening meal in restaurant - lovely atmosphere and great breakfast included. Family room in annex was a great size, clean and had everything we needed. Very quiet and comfortable nights sleep. Bunks were very high, even the bottom ones - just something to bear in mind. Excellent value for money and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful dog friendly bar/restaurant. We had our 2 collie mix dogs with us and were all welcomed in without hesitation. We went back a second day as it was so good to be able to bring our dogs with us. Along with that the food was amazing. Quick service, lovely chatty staff. Not a single negative about the food. Would really recommend if you have dogs. We will definitely be back and will probably stay in one of their rooms next time. Jennifer, Denis, Jacob & Nikki🐾
