Best freshly brewed beer in the North East, actually the best I’ve had anywhere in the UK. Looper IPA is outstanding
Love the place, seemingly great selection of bevvies. I prob chose the wrong one, on this my first visit. Billed as a 'Sour' called "It's actually all right", it was described as mango & coconut. Turns out it should truly be called "It's barely & maybe just alright" - as it had zero hint of coconut, no inclination of mango either, just tasted like cheap (from concentrate) orange juice. Bit of a downer as had high hopes for this place
Spacious bar overlooking the brewery. There's a wide range of brews, from the weaker session ales to DIPA, light or dark and some ciders too. Really friendly staff, happy to let you sample any before you buy. I saw a large Pizza oven, although we didn't eat there. Highly recommend a visit.
An excellent beer hall to sample some of the finest beers in Newcastle! Loved the venue and drinks, great view of the brewing process, would loved to have tried the food but we'd already eaten! Very good place to come for drinks and a bite to eat, staff were knowledgeable about their beers and very accommodating
LOVE this place! I’m an American “craft beer snob” and couldn’t have been happier here. “Mountains of Mars” was one of my favorite beers- EVER! Our beertenders (Ed and Amber) were knowledgeable and helpful. Pizza was great. If you’re in Newcastle- you gotta go!!
