Been here a few times and overall it's a lovely place. It's stunning to look at and the river is a real treat. The food is generally very good, although the mashed potatoes were over-mashed and resembled cream, they must have used an electric whisk. It was also a little dark as we were sat at the end next to the old mill. Go and see, you won't be disappointed.
Fab place to stay in your motor home. Only £10 charge which is given to Macmillon. Friendly staff and great service. Good variety of food on the menu and very reasonable price.
Had an overnight stop over here in our motorhome. Absolutely fantastic spot. Plenty of room for motorhome and very welcoming staff. Food was good we had halloumi fries garlic mushrooms for starters. Risotto and cheddar and bacon burger for main, triple chocolate sundae for pudding. Staff were all polite bar staff excellent. Great stop on our way back home from Cornwall. Will definitely stop here next year on our way back from Cornwall. 👍
Stayed here 31/8/23 for a stopover in our motorhome, the staff here are brilliant and very polite ,even when some cocky customer tried having a go to the young chap behind the bar about there being no carvery anymore he kept his cool and was very polite (so I called the customer a tosser for him) between us 😀 Great place for a great stopover and very peaceful with great views Thank you for making us feel welcome and the food was great A**** LEE
Very old pub, quirky old style to it. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was lovely, filling and not over priced. There is a main restaurant and a different area indoors if you have dogs. Great beer garden along side the river. Also a campervan/motor home stop over place for £10 which they donate to macmillan nurses. Toilet access until late at night. Cannot praise this place enough
