This is the third time we have been back to The Frogmill to meet friends. Such a lovely place! Would recommend. Warm, cozy and a lovely atmosphere. Each time we have been we have been served by Bea. She is very good at her job, made us feel very comfortable, is professional and how she remebered all of our food order without writing it down I do not know! Will definitely be back!
We enjoyed a lovely 2 night Christmas stay at The Frogmill. We had dinner on Christmas Eve in the restaurant, beautiful setting and lovely food. Christmas Day lunch was absolutely lovely great food and all the staff were amazing , very attentive great customer service and always with a smile. Great dog friendly hotel made to feel so welcome . Definitely visit again.
We took my sons for Boxing Day lunch. The view was excellent. Lovely location, beautiful building, great bar, relaxed restaurant seating areas. Service was great but the three beer battered fish and chips were not good value, tasty strange and over seasoned. The chicken burger was great looking and went down well. Have rated at 3 star because of the food because fish and chips is a pretty basic meal. Would make it 3.5 stars if I could.

However, the highlight of our evening was the exceptional service provided by our server, Bea. Her professionalism, coupled with genuine warmth, made us feel truly valued and well taken care of. Bea’s attention to detail, from her knowledgeable recommendations to her timely service, was impeccable. It’s a place we’d eagerly recommend for those who appreciate fine dining with a personal touch.
This place is so beautiful! The rooms are so charming and well thought out. Could be a little cleaner though. Nothing feels without purpose. Their breakfast is so so amazing. Better than dinner menu. The staff upon arrival were lovely but check in was a bit confusing. Overall, wonderful location and gorgeous sights.
