We got there about 3.30 and happy to service us. First time in this pub roast dinner choice of beef or pork. My only criticism is my roast potatoes were drowning in gravy. I told the waitress that I would prefer a jug of gravy, she said I'll change it. I said next time we come here for a meal. There will be a next tine because it was lovely and clean the food was good and service.

Popped in for a lunchtime snack. Made to feel most welcome. Had the Ploughmans, plenty of ham,cheese,salad.Two small pots of piccalilli and Branston.Two small baguettes. Excellent
Good little local. Friendly, busy when we called in. Basic pub food but served up well.
Been In here twice now with the family. You get treated by proper people who welcome you with a smile. The locals all acknowledge you without sneers or whispers, and you are generally accepted by all.great fun and laughter with the staff can be heard throughout the pub.
