About us

The Fox Public House and Function Rooms lies in the heart of Palmers Green, North London. The original Fox Pub was a two storey building dating back to the 1800’s, before it was rebuilt on the site around 1904 with the addition of a further floor.

The Fox Pub was featured in ‘Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban’

The Fox is the venue for the Electric Mouse Comedy Club. Comedy Nights are held twice a month in our Function Rooms. See further details on this website.

Our Function Rooms can cater for a wide range of events including

Weddings, Birthdays, Christenings, Funerals, Conferences, Meetings.

Private Parties can also be arranged within the Bar area if you are looking to hold a smaller event.

Fantastic service from The Fox since re-opening. Great to have this gem back up and running in the heart of Palmers Green with the fresh new look. Tasty quality food with a diverse menu, drinks on tap always crisp and refreshing with a plethora of spirits, cocktails and bottles to chose from. The Managers (J & P) and Chefs are an amazing group of people! They know the essence of hospitality and how to make their customers happy. The bar staff are also always welcoming and efficient. This is an ideal place for a casual drink, to socialise with friends & family even more so it's children friendly. They have a stunning private function room with modern audio visual equipment in place. For sports fans you're spoilt for choice on what match to watch with their multiple HD screens available around the pub. Look after this place everyone! And here's to keeping it safe & busy always! Friendly staff and atmosphere. Went on a Wednesday night and it was fairly quiet. Food was a bit disappointing, the Caesar salad was drenched in dressing and too strong. Half the dressing would have been perfect 😀 The portions are huge, the kids food looked good. I had sticky toffee pud which was disappointing, tasted too much of ginger. Would go again, maybe it was an off day.

A classy little pub recently refurbished. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. It also has a sports tv and outdoor seating for warmer days. Family and dog friendly pub. Also plays a good selection of music - not too loud either. Clean table with napkins and cutleries pre-set. Condiments and drink mats added. I ordered Chicken Caesar salad today. The chicken was a little dry and crispy but they did add avocado at my request. I came here Saturday too with my son. The chicken was softer but the size was smaller compared with today. Definitely anice relaxing pub to visit.

We had a great time. We booked the Function Room for our wedding reception and from the get go had an amazing service. Padraig and John took our thrown together ideas and made it happened. We chose a British theme since we were going to have a second party in Italy and they organised an amazing Pimms reception and British buffet, which was much appreciated by the Italian and the British guests alike. They took care of our guests with different dietary needs and suggested us when to cut the cake or do the fist dance, a bit like wedding planners. They have professional, but friendly manners and we couldn't be happier with our choice. I can see us becoming regulars now that we are back home!

Finally the Fox has reopened and I was pleased to see they have done a good job of the refurbishment. The prices seem a little high to me, but that's a today problem for all of us. I really hope this pub makes it. When I was there, a few days of their reopening, there seemed to be a good crowd of regulars. Certainly worth popping in and giving the place a chance.
