Depends what you're looking for. If you want proper home made food made from scratch, give it a miss. Our visit was disappointing. Not only was the food at a stretch only average, but they'd allowed themselves to run out all but one ale. To be honest the only redeeming thing was our waitress who was excellent. Until they get a better chef in residence, we won't be back!
We had an amazing lunch here on Friday. The food was so good and very reasonably priced. The service was great, very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return when we are coming this way!
Had a sunday lunch here, the place is tucked away down a little lane. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food was good and a great selection of beers. Worth a visit.

Great little pub, set in a quaint village setting. The food is very good and at a reasonable price, the service is good. Can't comment on the rooms as I have not stayed in them but if they are in keeping with the rest of the pub they should be good. The staff are very inviting and friendly. Would recommend having a meal there.
