We had a great time here on Sunday 14/1. We were celebrating my son's birthday and he'd booked a dome to allow us to bring our Airedale, Angus, along. From the start the service was terrific with several different young women taking and bringing our orders. All were very pleasant taking time to have a short chat or share in our conversation. The food was delicious! Well cooked and nicely presented. We'll definitely be back but as the days get warmer and longer it's obvious we'll have to book before arriving! Not the best review, dining for 2 on a date night. After being given the menu we asked what the server views were on the red wine. He reply was that they had no knowledge of red wine. We ordered and the mash was not ever delivered to the table, no water was offered either. We ordered the butchers block, the sirloin was chewy although the wellington was fabulous. 5-6/10 not impressed with service
Had a excellent meal here in a very nice place. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Between us we had 4 meals, all excellent. Will definitely return. There are also very nice Domes to have a more private, and fun dining experience.
Just had a meal from the Christmas menu. We booked a dome and what a lovely experience it was. Staff were very efficient and though they seemed so rushed off their feet at this busy time of year they were friendly, food was great, couldn't ask for much more. I certainly recommend it in general as a bar restaurant and the domes as a one of a kind experience, we did catch a glimpse inside, very glamorous and elegant interior design. The owners obviously take great pride in this place. A gem in Ayr.
Had dinner here at 7.30pm on a Wednesday night and it was still fairly busy with a bit of atmosphere. My wife, 6 year old and I chose to eat in one of the bubble/domes to the front of the property which are very cool and a bit like having your own little restaurant to yourself. I really enjoyed it as did my family. The food was very good with a genuinely good kids menu. Would highly recommend this place for couples or families and the domes make for something a little more interesting than a run of the mill restaurant.
