Spent New Years Evening here, cannot fault the Fox on anything, Hospitable, welcoming and Friendly. Rooms are lovely and well appointed, plentiful parking, staff are brilliant, friendly and most helpful, Chefs 8 course Gala dinner (fixed menu for New years) was out of this world, absolutely wonderful, highly recommended.
Excellent food if a little pricey (£7.50 for a bowl of tomato soup, £22 for mac and cheese). Service was good, efficient and polite. Table a little small for four place settings. Definitely recommended though and you won’t regret going!
Lovely terraced area with heating. Popped in after a walk, I wouldn't say the food is typically pub grub looking at the menu. Very nice staff and well presented pub
Relaving break away for the night. Lovely well appointed room. Fabulous food and service during two meals and very helpful and friendly staff. Have to give a special mention to Helen ,great sense of humour whilst maintaining professionalism and excellent service.
I'd be hard put to rate this place highly enough. If there were 6 stars, I'd award them. A lovely village Inn, staff and locals were friendly and helpful. There is a fantastic garden out the back with comfy chairs surrounded by well maintained flowers, shrubs, and trees. Also, a large field adjoining the car park just right for dogs to play on. We stopped for lunch and had a fishfinger sandwich and the Lamb Harissa. Both were absolutely delicious, and the fish fingers were obviously homemade and very generous in the portions. The Lamb was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious as well. Rounded off with some fine local ales. All in all, it was a really pleasant experience all round and well worth a visit.
