If you like a rural pub with good home made food then this fits the bill Its a halfway meeting point for our family and we love it. Food is great and the service is as good
We stayed just one night, it was quiet, super friendly and clean, but the extraction from the kitchens does not work and the accommodation is infused with frying oil, it’s a shame because they clearly try very hard.
The food was amazing and portions were generous. I would highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat. The staff at the Fox and Hounds absolutely fantastic.
It's a good pub don't get me wrong, but, I walked around 7 mile around there, I was thirsty and hungry. I got a Pepsi but they stopped serving food at 1 : 30 but it was 1 : 37. I asked if they could make an exception, but that didn't work. I had to walk back another 7 mile. They really need to stop serving at 3:00.
Such an endearing place. Warm welcome by all the staff. Food is so fresh and delicious.

Within the walls of the Red you won’t find a T.V, jukebox or bandit. Just the crackle of the open fire, good beer and the pulse of conversation and laughter.
