Lovely place to stay. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Reasonably priced tasty food even though Sunday evening menu is different to the rest of the week. Our room was very clean, warm and quiet. Thanks to all the staff for our dog friendly relaxing stay.
Traditional pub with low ceilings and exposed timbers. Had a delicious meal with my colleague for a reasonable price. Friendly service, clean bathrooms, good parking, lovely locationš
3 nights. Nice stay. Good value. Friendly staff. Yummy breakfast. Relaxed ambience in pub. Would stay again. Only reason for not giving 5 stars. Accomodation, although clean was a little tired. Am sure this will be addressed when funds available. Pub trade not easy!
Wednesday night is steak night. Ā£12!! It was first class. Waiting on, bar staff great. Very friendly. Chef is marvelous. Beautiful food very well presented. Need to book in advance as it gets very busy!
Beautiful building, very quaint. Great range of drinks and menu looks good too. The beer garden is lovely outside. If you have children they'll enjoy the slide and swings.Great location, especially on a sunny balmy afternoon in September! (Accommodation available too)
