Service was good the young girl was lovely. Disappointed as there were things off the menu rotisserie chicken was one and that was what myself and my son wanted and were looking forward too. So I didn't really enjoy my second choice as I really enjoy the rotisserie. It was also cold in the restaurant.
It is a nice restaurant in an old house well kept since a long long time. The food was delicious, without a doubt it was among the best burgers I had recently, they even have a free salad bar. The belgian waffle was heavenly, a must try for anyone! Highly recommended!
Shout out to the gent that answered the phone tonight 19/10/23. I was a little upset. Had ordered food through a delivery app and after waiting nearly 45 minutes called the restaurant. I was very promptly assured they'd got my order, the food was ready and they'd even put in an extra slice of cake as a sorry 😠for something not their fault. Very friendly, professional and tried to help as much as they could so neither of us would miss out. Delicious food, beautifully packed and well enjoyed. Thank you!
really nice restraunt with large portion sizes for food and unlimited salad bar that does not disappoint service is also great with friendly waiters and the salad bar never looking empty of lacking salad ingredients food was tasty and quick to arrive and the salad bar also tasted good and like a harvester would recommend
A Tuesday lunch (online booking) for 1pm - for myself and my parents. My father is Diabetic so we need to make sure he eats on-time, hence the booking. Booking wouldn't have been necessary otherwise. I haven't lived in Milton Keynes for 27 years and was visiting the folks. Really impressed with the menu (it's essentially pub-fayre) but with a huge amount of choice! I wanted to try their rotisserie chicken but I also wanted ribs. They had a menu item which had both! Result! The sage and onion fries were tasty (and a bit different) - the accompanying gravy pot was excellent and just what the dish needed. It would've been a bit dry without it - and I love dipping my fries in gravy! We were seated quickly, served politely and the food came fresh and really pretty promptly. We all really enjoyed what we'd ordered...parents went for Scampi and Fish&Chips. The free salad bar was superb, tonnes of choice! The only downside for me, is that it's pretty dark inside and the furniture (some chairs) were a bit grubby. They've definitely seen better days and the toilets were closed. The signage was terrible and a customer told me that I had to use the ladies. After eating the ribs - I only needed to wash my hands. I'd certainly make a return visit.
