About us
The Fountain is a typical local English Pub - a dying breed these days!
Serving from two separate bars, both of which have open fires, there is a massive array of spirits and mixers to choose from so there really is something for everyone. Just our gin shelf alone has 14 different varieties for you to work your way through.
As well as this there is a fantastic array of beers and ciders along with Cask Marque accredited real ale and as one of the auditors stated, "you will not find a better pint of Doombar than that!"
We believe our staff are second to none and most of them have been in the service industry for years and actually enjoy what they do so a warm friendly welcome is guaranteed - come and see for yourself.
Despite having an award winning beer garden, we are extremely dog friendly. We do not offer food on a day-to-day basis but you are more than welcome to bring in a takeaway from one of the numerous outlets in the Village and wash it down with a drink.
