One-room local with a separate area for pool with a centrally located bar. There is no real ale served here. Pool & dominoes matches are held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A quiz is due to be held on Thursday nights. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays a DJ plays. A popular organist plays on a Sunday afternoon.
Great pub, fabulous friendly service. We had a family gathering there and they took very good care of us. Highly recommended.
my friends and i have never felt more uncomfortable and unwelcome in a place before, the most unfriendly staff and customers - staring from both staff and customers and cheering as we walked out of the door

The pork scratchings were first class. The service is simply a joy to behold. The atmosphere is euphoric.
Great and friendly bar staff. Warm welcome. Landlord and landlady really welcoming. Limited beers but atmosphere more than makes up for this. Karaoke Friday and Saturday. Bingo Sundays... extremely funny golden oldies...make sure you have the next day off... seriously. Nice old fashioned pub, bring your drinking head.
