Called in on the advice of some friends and was not disappointed. There was a really nice atmosphere helped by the friendliness of the staff who couldn't do enough for us. The beer was of a good standard and very reasonably priced and as we called on a monday,you can get a homemade pizza with a choice of around 20 toppings (no limit, have them all if you want) for just £1.
Lovely place lovely flood nothing is too much effort had a lovely mothersday cream tea pizza are to die for sandwich and cake was lovely would highly recommend and can't wait to go back
Nice little bar near to the Train station . Good choice of Beers and some strange Japanese lager which was quite tasty . Quite a push to get to the lower part of the bar due to people milling around the bar . All in all a decent little place for a couple of pints .
Stopped in for a quick drink before calling it a night. Lovely wee bar with a absolutely stunning little lounge, wish I took a photo. Staff were friendly and the range of drinks available is impressive for such a small bar. Will visit again when back down south!
Unfashionable wine bar lacking in atmosphere. Real ale from more major rather than exciting smaller breweries. My beer was boring and I couldn't wait to leave. I don't understand why it's listed in the good beer guide.
