Excellent Sunday lunch. Remarkably reasonable for this very smart part of town. Sunday roast of lamb and chicken was sizeable and very tasty. Small selection of beers and a good solid wine list. Service was exceptional. Will be returning!
Lovely atmosphere. Lovely food. They also went out of their way to accommodate our large party (thank you Amira). All the staff were just exemplary. They really added to our enjoyment of the night. They were attentive, smiling, kind and nothing was a bother. So rare to get such good service from all staff.
Great location, pub is cosy and upstairs dining room is comfortable. Lovely Christmas decorations and attentive service. Roast dinner was a little underwhelming and needed more gravy. Yorkshire puddings are awesome.
We wanted a good Sunday roast for our last night in London, this place had good reviews and all of them spot on. The roast was delicious, just what a cozy Sunday calls for! The service fantastic, drinks are good. It wasn’t very busy, so it was nice to chill out and enjoy the meal!
We stopped into The Footman on the hope of getting a bite to eat after a long, rainy day of touring. We were graciously greeted and given two seats at the window. We ordered the cider-battered cod which was served with excellent chips, lightly minted peas, tartare sauce and a very nice curry sauce. The batter was crispy and the fish was delicious. Beer and wine rounded out our delicious meal.
