The standard of food was disappointing. My husband ordered his grill with coconut rice but it arrived with fries so then we had to wait for it to be changed. The portion size was small for the price, not much meat at all. The presentation of the dish was lacking and the salad (which again was very small) looked wilted and like it had been sat out for hours before being served. Our table was booked from 6pm and on our booking stated we had the table until 7.45pm. From 7.30pm our waitress was asking us to finish up as they had another booking. We said yes we won’t be long just finishing our drinks and then her and another waitress just stood watching us which made us feel under pressure so we left the table at 7.35pm and had to finish our drinks at the bar. The temperature of the restaurant was cold so we had to sit having dinner in our coats. Beautiful aesthetic in there but overall it’s overrated, it’s more style over substance. Sadly won’t be returning.
Lovely food and friendly staff. Was a bit quiet when we went in but I’d imagine it gets quite lively and fun at the weekend.
Was here for our daughter’s 21st birthday The food presentation is superb , However the chefs need to work on flavours of some of the dishes .Staff members are hardworking but need to communicate /connect more with customers Very Gorgeous decor and such a pleasure to be there , nice place to celebrate. I’m not sure if my husband left a tip , I would have and apologies if this wasn’t done. This was at the Watford Hertfordshire Florist not Liverpool like the review states
Chose ‘The Florist’ based on positive Google reviews, but the experience was marred by an excessively slow service, enduring over a 50-minute wait for food. The Citadella Jardin D’ete I ordered tasted like a basic gin and tonic. Despite multiple inquiries, the food delay persisted, and though a complimentary prosecco was offered, it fell short of compensating for the 50-minute wait. There was great ambiance and decor, the extended overall wait time due to the kitchen diminishes the likelihood of recommending or returning to ‘The Florist.’ It’s disheartening, considering that the food and service were otherwise faultless.
This is a very very beautiful restaurant. It is so floral and has a Great vibe. The service was good and the lady waiting us was super! Our bad that we did not go for a drinks or dinner! We ordered coffee and desserts. Very honest- this is not a coffee place, we asked for latte and were very disappointed. But the desserts were great and delicious, i enjoyed every single bite of my brownie♥️
