Looks bigger on the inside, TV sports, reasonable selection of cider + larger but only one beer which is a shame. Friendly inquisative bulldog. Not many customers but they were friendly. Handy for quick drink when waiting for Chinese takeaway next door. Good prices
Only pub open on the main road in Kidwelly at the time. It stank of urinals/toilets in main bar room which was funny as the gents toilets room smelt fine. Dead loud music at the time we visited, while 3 older guys (only others there) were sat at bar having a conversation with lots of loud swearing.
Chilled out, local pub. Had the England Wales game on which was the main draw for me. Friendly staff and locals. Don't take card, only cash
Great local pub, friendly staff and welcoming locals.
Found several pubs in Kidwelly but they were all closed at 7 pm. So the Fishermans Arms gets first star for being open. Second star for directing me to the chippy next door when I asked for a cup of tea. Tea there was 60p, what a pleasant surprise since I'm used to being ripped off in motorway service stations. Third star for traditional style and use of wood. Very male atmosphere.. No mineral water... Fizzy or still... No tea or coffee... Which explains why I was directed to the Chippy
