My wife and I ate here this evening, Sunday lunch. The place is nice and welcoming, staff very attentive, locals also friendly. The food was amazing, we eat Sunday lunch very often in pubs , inns this was exceptional. Fresh and piping hot. Soup for starter was very tasty. Would not hesitate to return.

Just had the most fabulous Sunday lunch with family. Food is plentiful, freshly cooked, very tasty and hot. All the vegetables were fresh, cauliflower cheese, parsnips, broccoli, carrots, sprouts and crispy roast potatoes. We were a party of 6 and between us tried all 3 roasts, beef, chicken and pork and all came with the full trimmings, there was also a vegetarian option. Puddings were superb too. All food and drink was reasonably priced and the staff were all super friendly. We will definitely return. Would recommend booking as it was quite busy. Overall superb.

I was very pleases with my visit and stay here. The food was lovely, the staff were very very pleasant, could not do enough for us, a big shout out for Joyce, and Nick the manager or owner. I stayed overnight in the apartment upstairs it was lovely, and had a full English the following morning, definitely be going again.

Just stayed here for 2nights. On arrival we had been moved rooms, we had an upgrade to the one bedroom apartment with river views. Stunning room, friendly staff, clean and tidy in all areas. We ate on site both nights, slight delay in getting food but well worth the wait. We had full English breakfast too and great breakfast for £10. Well worth a visit.

Searched some local places close to the South Littleton area and this place came up with some excellent reviews. We booked a table and was greeted warmly on arrival. Service staff were very friendly, helpful and made good conversation with the kids. The menu doesn’t have many options for kids (3), but with chicken, fish, sausages being the three options, they cover most appetites. Our kids ordered the fish and chicken and both were very well cooked and fresh - including the batter. The mains were equally delicious as well as the desserts. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and reasonably priced with a large beer garden to the rear and ample parking and the river across the road, we will definitely be visiting this place again!
