Decent place for drinking they even accepted me non drinker there.
A well decorated, friendly pub. Not somewhere I've been often but when I'm here I always have a nice time. Staff are always polite and attentive, and the regulars are friendly and welcoming also. Prices are decent and has a lovely beer garden. Very spacious.
Very friendly pub locals and bar staff make you feel part of the place has a great atmosphere also
The decor is lovely. I have been twice and doubt I will be back again. This is more a place for the working man to drop in for a pint or two after work and forget to go home and stumble about the pub drunk until leaving time. One drunk went in to use the toilet and peed all over the floor. Hubby wasn't impressed with that. Tried the karaoke evening.....the karaoke system was awful....blasting music and not hearing anyone's voice. I left early as a result. The disabled toilets had large ceiling lights stored in them!!? Also, being challenged as to the nature of your disability by the half drunk guy at the end of the bar because you don't look disabled....not good. Not the kind of place I would feel comfortable bringing the family for lunch....if they do lunch? Overall, good effort though on behalf of the new owners ...hopefully they can turn the place around.....
