Very friendly , a good price for drinks and a lovely sheltered beer garden.
Cracking beer garden out the back, good choice of drinks. Will be back even after the sun goes down, the bar area looks very inviting. Staff are all very cheerful and friendly.
Very old pub. Loads of original features. Always a great night at the Star. Dogs welcome too. Every Sunday at 6pm is the Meat Raffle. Yes. A meat raffle. Last night we won a steak pie.
