Had the best meal with family and the service from Sherrie was amazing! She was polite and very friendly and definitely made us feel very welcome! Thanks for a great meal xx

Great place to meet friends, good quiz night atmosphere is fantastic. Enjoy all the functions in the event rooms especially Rock and Roll and Soul nights. Food is very good and reasonable priced any request is dealt with promptly. Staff are all very friendly, most are able to help in any situation if not there is always someone who can .The bar shows all the sport events and has a very lively vibe , they put on lots of activities to coincide.

I have visited The Festival Inn on quite a few occasions, and have always enjoyed visiting. Today was a mixed bag, overall. My mum and i really enjoyed our main meals which were on the “two for £13.50” weekday meal deal, which we do think is excellent value. The portion sizes were really generous to say that it was a “2 for” offer. When our mocktails were being made at the bar, a gentleman who was also behind the bar with the lady who was making our drinks asked if we’d like some sweet in our drink, to which I said yes. However, when I got to the table no sweets were present, so I had to go back to the bar and ask for these although the lady behind the bar seemed confused, asking “why, did you want some?” Wouldn’t really affect my overall experience but I just thought it was a really strange mix-up as I had just been offered the sweets! I then asked for two straws, but the pub was unable to offer any, which I did think was poor, especially for someone with sensitive teeth having a drink full of ice. In addition, my mum and I were disappointed with the desserts menu; at first we were both doing to have the biscoff cheesecake, however was told there wasn’t any. This was fine so I popped back to my mum to make another choice. We both chose the jelly and custard cheesecake, but yet again we were told they didn’t have this in. We did think this was poor as it was still quite early in the day so was surprised that some menu items had already sold out (it was around 12:30pm). I would have had a coffee instead of a dessert but last time I visited was told “no decaf options”, so instead we just left and had our own dessert at home. Overall the experience was fine, the food was lovely, although there were some niggles along the way and there was room for improvement. I would probably return although probably a little less likely after this visit.

Great venue with the most amazing team of staff, nothing is too much trouble and it's service with a smile, held my daughters wedding in Harry's bar, it was perfect and the food was fabulous, highly recommended big shout out to Matt for all his help.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Came to the Function Room for a presentation evening for both boys and girls, Ilkeston, Basketball teams, it's a very large room with a bar that is separate from the main Bar. It was very busy and when the bar became overwhelmed, staff were brought from the main bar which reduced the wait time of the queues. Toilets were clean and suitable for the size of venue.... There is a stage, good sound system and a dance floor, although only the sound system was used for this event... Out side the carpark is a good size and free... I believe everyone enjoyed themselves, especially those who received an award.
