The Ferry House (or "Bottom Pub" as it known by the locals) is a family owned and run pub on the banks of the River Trent in Burton upon Stather.
My family have held the Ferry House Inn for 54 years. We have a long and honourable reputation that spans much further than the village boundary.
The pub is mainly wet led, and good beer, good standards and good conversation have been the hall mark of how a village pub should operate. The pub sits close to the River Trent and has a long and remarkable history linked to busy river transport. We also have a small jetty (marked on the river map) and throughout the summer months the pub attracts hundreds of customers and their families down to the riverside.
Amazing food and staff wouldn’t go anywhere else and would recommend anyone amazing Sunday dinners and meals throughout the week
Great selection of beers wines and ciders with restaurant attached. The pub sits right next to the river. Large beer garden plenty of tables and space and decked area. Riverside Restaurant is separate business and offers great choice of foods for all tastes and is very reasonable priced.
This venue has a great outdoor seating area and spread out well. The staff are friendly, the facilities are clean. We did not eat here but we will be doing in the near future.
Went to look at the river Trent outfall but had dinner here it was wonderful the staff being very friendly and professional indeed will definitely go again.
Attended the beer festival a few weekends ago, had a really nice time, decent atmosphere, beer and ciders were both nice pretty much across the board, haven't eaten in the pub, but the event food they had on wasn't bad at all, pork, stuffing apple rolls, and vegetarian curry were both very nice indeed, will definitely go again.
