We called in on a Friday dinner when it was quite busy. The menu was quite varied with certain offers at reasonable prices. After buying our drinks we had to wait a longish time for our meals, maybe cos it was as above. My meal of fish and chips was let down by undercooked chips but the fish was really tasty. My better half's meal of English breakfast was OK ish let down by undercooked bacon and sausage. Overall not to bad considering meals and drinks was less than £20. As we left at about two ish it seemed to have got a bit less busy. Parking seems ample.

A quick review for me, but working away in the area and wanted to try somewhere new for evening meal and a quick drink - so popped in to the Fernhurst. Here today on Wednesday so had the curry and pint offer. I added a naan to it on top - perfect addition to curry! Had the Chicken Jalcrazy. It was awesome. Loved every bit of it. The guy serving me was friendly, helpful and great service. Drink was cold, fresh and just what needed after a busy day. Couple of points of general improvement, didn't affect my visit in any way but would be great if they can be looked at: 1. The numbers aren't on all the tables. Explained where was at the bar and it was fine, but could be a problem if ordered in the app. 2. Added my naan easy enough (and was tasty!) But I didn't see these additions on the menu or in the app. Typically wouldn't eat everything on a supersize one - so could be useful if they could put the smaller items on the menu to see what can be added. Keep it up. 5* review 😀 thanks.

First I checked on the website to check if they had tables, it said the earliest table I could get was 6:30pm, fair enough it is December. I arrived, with three kids, as 6:30 and the place looked empty 🤷‍♀️. I mentioned this as I thought that there may be a problem with their website. I was told that it was because they had a table of 22 booked in. Okay, if you can only do 22 covers that’s fine. I assumed that the large booking had almost finished, especially as originally looked for a table at 5 and they appeared full. More fool me as it seems they had not long ordered their food. To cut this story short we waited an unreasonable amount of time for our food. The chicken was that tough I couldn’t cut it! The six year old couldn’t eat the burger, she was hungry because she ate other food instead. She eventually said that the burger was very dry, I tasted it and she was not wrong! The husbands foot was a big letdown, it was a slider burger thing that looked like it had been dumped on the plate, one of the burgers didn’t even have a bottom. The two waitresses were pleasant enough and was working to their best ability. There was a chap, think he was the manger, loitering around the bar and then disappeared. A good manager rolls up their sleeves and helps, they also assist when someone is complaining. He’s definitely not one of those managers.

When here to stay in the hotel. Absolutely awful! Room was so dirty and dusty I was ill the whole time sneezing and blocked up. I had to take antihistamines to survive the night. The whole place was falling apart! The room window wouldn’t shut, the bathroom was mouldy, 2 single bed not attached to each other passed off as a double. The woman at the desk was so rude, no idea why she works there because she clearly lack all customer service skills, nor did she even seem to want to be there. The ‘food can be ordered to your room’ is a lie, the rude woman didn’t have any idea what she was saying or doing. Highly recommend a job not involving customers for you. Then again, I’d not wanna work In Such conditions either. The stench of the place burnt my nose hairs! I had to buy air fresheners to get through the time there. Plug sockets off the wall, spiders everywhere, tap broken and leaking constantly, toilet wouldn’t flush, and I have ibs so good luck with it after I left. We had some food at the restaurant, the coke and Fanta had no fizz but apparently soda was fine. Food was standard but the restaurant was falling apart, roof caving in. Also parking is that bad we watched some guy take out a brand new car by hitting all the side of it. Do no recommend ever.
