A lovely independent pub that served incredible food for a good value. They had plenty of items in the menu to choose from. A lovely log fire that kept the pub nice and warm on a very cold day.
The Feathers, Rickmansworth Just literally got back from a works Xmas lunch at this fabulous pub. 3 car parks all within walking distance. After paying the charge & walking to the pub, on a freezing cold day, we entered the pub. As soon as we walked in, you feel the warmth from the fire, the smell of the food & was greeted by a friendly staff member who immediately booked all 13 of us in. (We had previously booked & preordered) Our drinks were all delivered to our table & our food was served in no time (Some of us had to shoot off). I had the salmon, potatoes & puréed leeks, it was cooked to perfection. They guys all had festive burgers & a couple of vegetarian options. Extremely friendly & knowledgeable staff, excellent facilities & the garden looked amazing. Plenty of benches & 2 enclosed areas with fluffy seats & heating. I even saw some doggy bowels, so I’m assuming dogs are welcome too. Just wish I lived closer! Thank you so much for looking after us all. From The Martin-Baker boys & girl!
Great lunch, delicious food and excellent service. Definitely (not possibly!) the best pub lunch we’ve had - ever!
Little hidden gem! Beautiful quaint pub, great garden area very welcoming staff. Amazing food and dog friendly def recommend!
Amazing pub! The staff are absolutely lovely and really friendly and helpful. The food and portions are also great and the pub is really nice, the outside seating area is really cute and nicely decorated. The desserts are really nice and the presentation of everything is lovely. I'm not usually a fan of brownies, but I thought I'd give the sundae brownie a try, and it was possibly the best brownie I've ever had! The cauliflower bites are really tasty, too, and I'd recommend getting them as a starter. We didn't get a chance to try the roast but would definitely return again as it sounded lovely!

The White Bear is one of the oldest pubs in Rickmansworth. It is situated near Batchworth Lock on the Grand Union Canal. We have an outside seating area, modern and contemporary interior with a very friendly atmosphere and an extensive car park.
