Delicious Sunday lunch and a really lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for a lovely and classy meal out
Had a fabulous meal at the Feathers tonight. Staff were wonderful, welcoming & friendly. Food was beautiful. We had 3 children and a dog and staff were brilliant with us all.
We were at the venue for our Christmas party. It's a very nice venue with plenty of room and a great place for any functions. The main reasoning for my low ratings is the food and a particular member of staff. The food was ok but not up to the standard we were expecting, I had prawn cocktail for starters which was very disappointing, it basically consisted of two lettuce leaves and a few prawns with virtually no sauce. The main was very small, the turkey was dry and was served with one potato and half a carrot, The desert was very tasty but went to the other extreme an absolutely huge piece of sticky toffee pudding that soon became too sickly to finish. The staff of which 99% were very friendly and helpful, but one in particular was very rude, aggressive and unwelcoming, and went by the name Kuba. What started with a night we were all looking forward to slowly turned into a bit of a disappointment.
My first visit to the Feathers Hotel and what a delight. I had a two night stay. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The food was excellent and my room was clean and well appointed. Great location on the historic market square and very close to the moors. I will be back
We stopped here for a meal on our way back from a day out. Really lovely staff. Very helpful. Enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant which was delicious. Very enjoyable and reasonable prices.
