Welcome to The Farmers Arms, Nottage, a traditional public house since 1858, it is the oldest pub in the village. Situated in the quaint village of Nottage on the outskirts of Porthcawl. We offer traditional homemade food and a Sunday lunch we are extremely proud of, booking is advised. We are dog friendly with a designated bar for your four legged companions, as well as a separate bar and also a restaurant/function room.
After a long walk nearby, was looking for a warm pub that was dog accommodating, and we were not disappointed. Was a bit late on Sunday for a roast, but Jason and the team worked hard to accommodate us, checking in frequently, and being very friendly. Food was delicious - they did chicken breast and plenty of veg for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!
The Farmers arms is a lovely, welcoming pub right in the middle of the old village of Nottage. There’s a small car park opposite and outside seating to front and in the rear courtyard. The staff here a great, very warm and friendly. I phoned up at short notice last night for food and they fitted us in no problem. The food is excellent, freshly cooked and plenty of it ( also very reasonable priced ). There’s a good range of beer and cider on tap. All in all I’d thoroughly recommend the farmers arms.
First time visiting, and you can take your dog into the bar area. Very cosy, very welcoming. I will be back. The nicest place I've been for a while. All our food was home cooked. There was a crash on the m4 meaning we were an hour and a half late but they waited for us. What a fantastic couple running the place, lovely chef, even the locals were lovely. Loved it.
Cosy authentic old pub , most loveliest barmaid ever! Lovely food just feels like home from home , could have stayed all day ! X
Had a great little mid week meal here this evening. The staff were lovely and welcoming. So kind and considerate towards my little girls a real family friendly venue. The food was delicious! Fresh home cooked lasagne (my partner inhaled it too quickly for a photo) and a lovely scampi and chips!
