About us

The Farmers Arms is a beautiful old country pub which has been here since the 1800's. You'll be welcomed into a lovely interior with traditional wooden beams and pillars now mixed in with modern art, throwing a great mix into the atmosphere.

Having recently changed hands the pub is food led with fantastic new Landlords, chef Jules producing freshly cooked food, and in house butcher, Jason who sources local fresh meat.

We serve a lovely lunch menu alongside delicious set priced 2 course and 3 course lunches, with a separate dinner menu.

Walking, cycling and running groups are regularly catered for with set menu choices being provided.

We pride ourselves on delivering excellence in product and service. Come along and visit us.

We welcome dogs and are family friendly. With a large beer garden there is plenty of outdoor space. We have plans for a children's play area very soon too!.

Called into today the first tome we have been back in about 20 years. It has certainly changed and for the better. Had a fantastic 2 course lunch and drinks with the wife. The food was first class. The owners made us really welcome. Will definitely be calling back

Whilst my wife's ham egg and chips was adequate my steak and ale pie had neither. I left it. 75 quid for average food. Incidentally, definitely this farmers arms!

Lovely pub! Sunday lunch was superb, we absolutely will be back. Pub is also dog friendly but there is a pub cat so we left our dogs in the car after our walk. Staff are always really polite and accommodating too. 5*

Great food and served by nice people. Think it’s a family run place as it has that vibe. We booked in advance and asked if we could stay overnight in the car park in our van. They said yes and we were pleasantly surprised by a level and large parking space with a pretty decent view!
