Second time I’ve come here on a Sunday just for the roast and I simply cannot fault it! I’ve had the chicken and now tried the beef and it is extremely good value and absolutely delicious. Will be a repeat customer and telling my friends. Come for their Sunday roast!
Christmas Dinner at its finest! Fabulous meal and atmosphere. My husband had as a starter smoked salmon terrine. A palette cleansing sorbet. As a mains, a 28-day beef sirloin and for dessert, a cheese board. I had as my starter Venison. A palette cleansing sorbet. As my mains a turkey, Christmas Dinner and for dessert, lemon pavlova. We ended our meal with coffee and truffles! If you don't want the fuss of cooking or cleaning up afterwards at Christmas, I would suggest visiting here. It was expensive but worth every penny!
We visited to exchange for my husband’s birthday, service was very attentive, my husband even received a birthday card which made it extra special, glad we chose to dine in the exchange, the food was at a high standard and portion sizes was very generous we all left stuffed. Very happy family thank you we will be returning soon.
Excellent polite service but unfortunately the food looked better than it tasted. The chicken wings were Luke warm & the steak pie had very tough pastry.
Recommended by a Relative & didn't dissapoint, best roast we've had out in a while, Not posh,No Frills, Nice Pub,will return
