Excellent. Been a few times. Went yesterday for lunch. Food amazing. polite and friendly staff. Manager really helpful. Recommended. We will be returning. Loved it.
A great New Year's eve lunch. Nice & flat for disabled guests, my father in-law was looked after by the staff in order to get seated & when visiting the toilets. The food was good & not a bad ale 😁 on tap.
My partner and I are regulars at the Ethorpe and we can't understand the negative reviews - this is a wonderful venue. We eat at the Ethorpe regularly and the food is excellent along with the service (particularly from Michael). This year we attended for Christmas dinner and I can't speak highly enough of it – the food, the ambience and the service were second to none ! They also got the pace of the service just right – it was nice and relaxed, but without waiting ages between courses – we will certainly be doing this again next Christmas ! Well done to Paul and Michelle for making the Ethorpe such a fabulous place !
Since this place reopened it has improved beyond all expectations. Ambience and atmosphere is warm and friendly. The food we have is consistently tasty with lots of choice and definitely recommend the Sunday roast and caramel cheesecake which is delicious and has the taste of home cooked. The managers Michele and Paul are also so friendly and welcoming and The Ethorpe pub/hotel/restaurant is now in our view leading the many eateries in Gerrards Cross for the eating experience, choice, value and customer service. Well done. 5/5.

The Three Oaks opened in the lovely village of Gerrards Cross in July 2011 and has a sister ‘Oak’ in Cookham called The White Oak which opened in November 2011. We also have a sister site in Beaconsfield called No5 London End.
