Built in the early 19th Century, The Three Jolly Wheelers originally relied heavily on the tourist trade. A photograph of the inn taken in 1906 shows that the inn used to hire out horses and traps - most likely used by day-trippers travelling to Epping Forest. We still welcome tourists to this day, in addition to locals looking to unwind and choose from our diverse drink and food menus.

Have been a regular visitor here for some time but never tried the Sunday Roast before. It was absolutely superb ! Well presented, large portions and a great selection of vegetables with excellent service. I can't think of anywhere locally that can match it.....
I went to this pub the other day with a group of friends. Our server was a lovely young lady named Liv, she made the experience very welcoming and was very polite. We ordered the hunter's chicken and the fish and chips and it was some of the best food I've ever tasted. The seating by the fire provided a cozy and warm welcome.
Lovely pub/restaurant, been coming here for years. Bar area is nice with good selection and has front and back outdoor areas. Also, most importantly, it is a dog friendly establishment.🐶 I have visited twice in the last year, and both times when I've ordered food, they haven't had either of my 2 choices. Two weeks ago, I ordered mushrooms for Starter and ribeye steak to be told they didn't have either only Sirloin. I ordered the chicken starter and fish and chips to be told 10 min later at the table they didn't have the chicken starter! Not the end of the world, but they should have known what they have and what they don't have. Wont stop me from coming back as the food is too good. I do recommend this place
The welcome on arrival and kindness of the staff was really impressive and such a nice experience. Very friendly and inviting. I booked a dog-friendly area of the restaurant as I was taking my dog along and the whole experience was great. I also had a 40% discount voucher which made it even better but I understand that due to the popularity of the offer, there were some items not available on the menu. I'll definitely be back for another great evening!
A very warm welcome from the staff and our waitress who was informative and funny. The pub has a nice selection of food including vegetarian options. There's wide selection of drinks including draft beers 🍻, spirits and wine. Car park to the rear is large and backs on to a hotel car park. Don't forget to enter your car registration into the tablet when you walk in for free parking 🅿️.
