This classic British pub has been part of the McMullen family since the purchase in 1920 of the Hope Brewery, which stood since 1830 on McMullen’s Hertford site, where hand-crafted real ale is still brewed to this day.
A hop skip and jump from the Lee Valley Waterways and Royal Gunpowder Mills, set in its own gardens and with children’s play equipment for the little munchkins (including bouncy castles weather permitting), this is the perfect pub for socialising with friends and family.
Enjoy great British classics, pies, chargrilled meat cuts and Sunday roasts along with hand-crafted local real ales, world beers, fine wines and credible coffee. Put your feet up, let us spoil you and leave us to do the washing up! Perfect!

Popped in after work, having just missed my train. I'm glad i did. Very friendly staff and could become a post work habit.
The worst pub Terrible experience,Not recommended at all, trying to use a toilet own starting to shouting me for no reason, Was going to pop in as I'd heard good things about it. Shocked to see a sign on the door stating 'regulars only'.What has happened to this pub 🤔 come in for the 1st time in 5 months and it's completely changed Owens got no respect at all mate, What happen if you had the medical condition?
Love staff since it got taken over by new people great

Lady at the bar was very friendly and chirpy even towards the end of the night. It’s a a Tottenham pub and Tottenham scum in their the dredge of society.
