Traditional pub with a range of beers and cocktails on tap. I've always found that staff are really welcoming and friendly despite a slight locals/regular vibe. Large beer garden. Clean toilets.

Didn't try th food so I wouldn't know but full of friendly people and the staff are great with the customers and very engaging. The garden is relaxing to sit in and quite sizable but arranged in a way so that is social all in all I would recommend for a drink but not for a busy weekend night for those wanting a more dance kinda vibe.

The chequers have just reintroduced food..I was the 1st person to order on the menu....I had a burger, but I have to say it was fantastic....the new chef's there have a great choice of food to meet everyones needs. I would seriously recommend this pub for either a quick bite or a more formal meal. Please try it.
