Disappointing visit unfortunately. Felt uncomfortable on arrival as was greeted with 'so you're my 5.15'? by an unhappy member of staff eating their dinner. A friendly lady did then come over and show us to our table. On ordering was then told one of the choices was unavailable, would have been better to been advised when given the menus. 5 mins after ordering we were then told that they had run out of the second choice as well. 3 roasts ordered was unappetising, undercooked veg, reheated roast potatoes which were awful, tough meat and sad looking veg. The burger was the worst my son said he has ever had. The one meal that looked and went down well was the fish and chips. Not attentive to the table when they weren't we busy and we were the only ones there, having to go and find someone to order drinks and then to ask for the bill. On leaving we were completely ignored by the same member of staff who gave us the awful greeting. Really sad as we used to enjoy coming here for family meals.
Steve and skye looked after us really well , really attentive and professional. Food was delicious. Looking forward to coming on Xmas day. Update Christmas day was amazing can't thank you enough
Promising start, but service was poor, food was not warm enough and veg would have been more cooked had they been raw. Updated.. Got invited back by Stephen the manager and found that the food the second time was exceptional. Everything was well presented, tasty and hot. The service too was what you would expect in a well run country pub. Well done and we shall return.
Always have a wonderful experience at The Green Dragon, I've been loads of times and there's a reason I keep going back. Reasonably priced, decent food, fast, good service and great atmosphere 👌🏼 Lovely outdoor space, as well. Will grab some pictures next time.
First time back there in over two years and missed going there , it's a nice place to be at . Now under new management the food is good and the quantity is right. In the past the food was good but not the quantity , now it as both and we had a lovely meal. Thankyou.
