Stopped for a much needed breakfast after parkrun. Lovely service, especially from Katie! A very good value bacon muffin with some hash browns that was very filling.
We came for a Christmas festive meal we got a starter,main and dessert the staff was nice enough nothing was to much trouble cost us £102 for 3 adult 3 kids in the festive menu and 9 drinks,the starter was nice,the starter was nice,crackers on the table nice tablecloth it was nice,the crackers wasn't to good tbh had 6 crackers and out of 5 of them there was the same thing inside kids was disappointed they all got same
Arranged a family meeting there today as roughly half way between where we lived. First time visit for all of us but certainly not the last! Tables set out and reserved note placed in prominent position. Contacted them shortly before visit to ask if possible for an extra place to be set up and everything sorted when we arrived. Staff were outstanding in every respect! Service excellent! Some of us had food from the main menu and some from the carvery which had an excellent range of choice available. Everybody ( 12 in number and all adults) said they enjoyed the food they ate and asked for our get together to be at the same place next year. No better testament than that!
Cosy and friendly looking establishment. Along with friendly staff . The Buffet breakfast was fresh , and looked appetising ( although we did visit just after opening time 0800hrs ) . Lots of choice for breakfast , and general quality was good . Good value for money overall , and comfortable seating . Only one minor concern was the volume of the ambient music , not conducive for breakfast - but did not impact greatly on the meal . Ample parking ( although I can imagine it getting busier during peak times ). Wheelchair accessible, and good for those with mobility issues .
Lovely pub to go to with the family and is fairly priced. The carvery is great! Only downside is that you can only get meat once. Everything on the carvery is amazing and the amount you are given is just right. Basically load up your plate till your hearts content. There are plenty of seating areas of different sizes aswell.
