We had a big family meal (18 people) for my mom's birthday celebration. Thanks for the superb service and amazing food. Thanks ever so much.
Our Christmas dinner was terribly poor. It started off well, starters were served within half an hour but the mains were served to half of us then over half an hour later after asking twice we were told by a waitress we’d been forgotten about, only to bring out our cold mains 10 mins later. Over an hour after this we’d still not been served any of our desserts, tables around us had arrived been served and left and we were left sitting there so with very fed up children and adults we decided enough was enough and asked for our desserts to be deducted. Very disappointing as Christmas 2022 we had a wonderful meal here. I’m afraid standards have slipped drastically and we won’t be returning!
On arrival we were greeted with a ‘it’s an hour wait for food before you take a seat’… we had a table booked and explained this. We were promptly taken to our reserved table where we proceeded to order our meals through an app, all three meals were beautiful as were the puddings. The drinks came quickly and the service was great. It was the best meal we have had at this restaurant and we will definately be back. 👏 well done.
Millie the barmaid gave great service, food was great, atmosphere cannot complain. Highly recommend. Had a baby shower event in June and I’m so happy with how it went, Thankyou x
Called for lunch on 30/05/23 - our first visit. The place is filthy inside and out, tables & carpets are dirty/sticky, wallpaper is peeling off and general decor in poor state of repair. One ladies toilet full (I’ll say no more) and another out of order. Food took 45 minutes to arrive after ordering. Sizzling skillets had layers of burnt on food but meals otherwise okay for the price (we’ve had better quality at other Sizzling pubs, however). Staff ok; we don’t like over friendliness. Overall we cannot recommend and we won’t be returning.
