About us

Sport is a major part of life here at The Elephant Inn, supporting our own darts and bridge teams as well as Finchley United FC. With five plasma TVs and one giant screen, this the best pub in Finchley for live televised matches too.

In summer months, our patio is perfect for alfresco drinks - but when temperatures plummet there's nothing better than cosying up to our crackling real fire. Bliss.

We're a very family-friendly pub. Children are welcome in our restaurant and outside patio, or in our bar areas until 8pm. We’re also happy to welcome well-behaved pets and guide dogs.

I did not eat the food but it looked good . Menu is a mixture of Asian flavours. Staff very friendly. The toilets are very clean and have old style sinks and taps. A good selection of alcohol free beers.

What a lovely pub. Wood panelled and worn leather chairs and benches throughout. Great choice of beers, draughts even two gluten free beers. You can see it’s full of warm and friendly locals/regulars and has a very welcoming vibe. Separate sports bar with a pool table and a huge projector to watch your rugby/footy etc.

Always liked the Elephant. Have been coming here off and on for 20 years and two things have consistently stood out; quality of the beer, which is well kept and of a decent temperature and the quality of the well priced Thai food.

Don't usually go to pubs, however after seeing some friends in the Finchley area we decided to dine in as we felt a little peckish that night, and I am pleased to say that I regret not coming sooner! The atmosphere was cozy, we all sat down and enjoyed a nice pint with a diverse selection of food options! Massive note for the spring rolls, very crispy! I also wish to mention the wonderful assistance from Sean, a wonderful gentleman who served us on the day!
