Without doubt this gorgeous little hotel is an absolute slice of paradise. From the warm friendly staff to the stunningly beautiful location it’s simply a little slice of paradise. We brought Nevis the wonderdog with us and he was very welcome and treated like royalty, when they say they are dog friendly trust me they really are. We had dinner in the bar beside a roaring log fire and we’re welcomed into the local watering hole with warmth and genuine kindness. We will leave here with warm fond memories of a fabulous stay.
No housekeeping room service during the day (within 2 days stay), some dishes of the menu were not available for a dinner, yogurt wasn’t available for a breakfast. Otherwise, food was delicious. A waiter in the bar wasn’t friendly, he needs more than 15 minutes to serve bottled beer.
Had reservations for 12 and had pre ordered. We arrive and bar tender is mad we had arrived. Used the f word and ignored us and served the regulars first who had come in after us. Finally get are drinks and I payed cash. He never offered my change and just ignored me again. If this business wants tourist business I suggest they get rd of him. Food was great just a bad taste left in my mouth from the bar tender. Glenn Cross
Stayed for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer! A wonderful and beautiful location which can not be beat. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Not the cheapest hotel to stay at but IMO, well worth it. The menu offered was not extensive but the food prepared was tasty. A portion of the menu was based on the availability of local seafood so some items were not available. Some guests were not happy about this but one has to appreciate the size and location of the hotel. It is a point to make note of but it did not distract from the enjoyment of our stay. Would definately recommend staying here.
Just off the main road in a secluded wee cove. We stopped here a few weeks ago for a change of scenery as my tour guests were wanting a change from the meals in a nearby hotel. The bar manager was able to squeeze us in despite being very busy that evening. We were very grateful and after dinner you can have a beer and a wander down to the pier for an amazing view
