Small, traditional local dating from 1708 and rebuilt in 1902, retaining original embossed windows and decorated with memorabilia.
There is live music fortnightly on Fridays, and a quiz, usually on the last Wednesday of the month. Five darts teams play every week and their trophies are on display. Roast lunches are served on Sundays. There is an attractive small walled garden and a comfortable heated smoking area.
Horrible place, wouldn't go there again! Outside toilets ffs... Stay away

Lovely little pub with a suntrap garden. Locals and bar staff were friendly. Cherry the cat was beautiful too.
Traditional pub. Lovely Sunday roast, eaten in the, very pleasant, beer garden. As one of our group described it - lunch was just like her Nanna used to make. Beautifully cooked. Excellent all round.
