Had a great family get together over the weekend thanks to the very friendly staff and the great rooms and good food on Saturday night which The Chequers provided. Also great breakfast Sunday morning
We had a lovely overnight stay here, staff very welcoming and helpful. Rooms were clean and cosy. We had an evening meal and breakfast, which we cannot fault. Really enjoyed our weekend, would definitely stay again.
Lovely rural hotel in quiet village. Staff were fantastic - friendly, helpful and accommodating. Food was excellent, especially the breakfast. Will certainly be back on my next business trip.
When I have driven over 200 miles in a day there is nothing better than to be greeted by a friendly and welcoming face. My stay here has been brilliant from start to finish. The room was spotlessly clean and had a large fan in it which was very welcome. The food was well presented and very tasty and the restaurant staff we very friendly and helpful. The cost of the food was fair. Breakfast was great. Again happy and friendly staff were available to help. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be coming back.
We have just come back from a 2 day stay , the room was airy lovely and clean, a massive comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and the customer service was faultless. As for the food ,again was faultless, good sized portions for dinner and pudding menu. reasonable prices too. The breakfast would go down as the best presented I have ever come across, warm pastries, fresh fruit , the list goes on .... the cooked breakfast was fantastic. The building was quirky and beautiful. Overall they deserve a great review
