What a lovely country pub the Red Lion is! I was there for the first time on behalf of Three Acre Brewery for a great little Christmas market. There was even a fairground organ outside, complete with a sprinkling of 'snow' to complete the atmosphere. The pub is cosy, warm and just how a country pub should be, and to top it all, Gary and the team are so friendly and welcoming - what more could you want!

Had a really nice meal here. The staff was very friendly and even made a special treat for our dogs. Lovely little pub, would definitely pay a visit again when in the area.
Absolutely wonderful local pub with charming hosts, authentic olde worlde interior, smashing local beers and super food. Recommended by our B&B and we can see why. First rate all round.
