Located along the busy main road in a small and quiet Pevensey village, the pub offers a good value for money dining experience. We ordered a three course meal for less than £20 and we all enjoyed our meal which is delicious and freshly made. Food portions are just right. The staff are pleasant and attentive. There is adequate free parking space inside the pub. The place is beautiful, cozy and is a good dining venue for friends and families. The toilets facilities are clean and well maintained. Highly recommended.

Fantastic place to eat. Staff brilliant. Order taken and had our meals within minutes drinks etc. The roast lamb was the best tasting piece of lamb I can remember eating same goes for the other 12 family members with me. Already booked to go back for the Christmas menu. Prices are also very very good. Cannot thank the smugglers enough. Go and see for yourself
What a hidden gem. Great value 3 course meal for £10! Choice of starters and desserts plus fish or steak mains. Food served quickly and freshly cooked, although it was busy with at least 50 diners. very tasty. Restaurant nicely decorated too.
So at last Smugglers reopens as a restaurant and we decided to try it out on a late March evening. To be honest I was disappointed that we have lost a local pub but glad that it was open at all. Booked on line, booking confirmed within 12 hours. Restaurant was busy at 7:30. Most tables full. Good to see. Service was efficient and very friendly. Menu has been targeted for mass appeal and priced accordingly. Mains are good value - starters and deserts are half price at the moment. Food was excellent. Well cooked and good portions. As we only live 50M away I think we will be back.
