What a lovely atmosphere! Friendly staff, amazing table service and tasty food which catered brilliantly for my dietary requirements, even going so far as to specially make my meal choice. A warm log fire, smiley faces and a huge variety of food and drink (great knowledge by the staff on a choice of wine). I’ll be going back very soon.
We were made very welcome and staff were all friendly and happy. The food was excellent , we did have to ask three times was the yorkshire pudding Vegan and was assured it was. It turned out NOT to be Vegan as we suspected so that was not great. We asked for the gravy to be separate in a jug but it was poured over the dinner!!
The pub did not have a nice atmosphere. Met friends who were eating, but not overly impressed with the food, and my pint glass had a dirty rim. Tried this pub, but will not be returning under this management.
Visited on Sunday the 1st of October at 1.30 for a family lunch. We were a group of 12 who couldn't fault our dining experience in any way . Five stars for service, food ,friendliness of staff and atmosphere. Well done!!!!
Had an absolutely beautiful meal! The portions are very generous & very well priced. They have a very well put together menu, which includes a lot of options for people with Gluten, Dairy Allergies etc. Would 100% recommend it to my friends & family. My friend & I had the pleasure of meeting the owners of the pub - lovely people, with extraordinary minds. We’ve spoken about our horrible experience at the restaurant that my friend and I went to for her birthday the day before, and the owners have sent a stunning birthday cake to my friend - which was absolutely magical. The decor is outstanding & very different from everything that I have seen before. They’re also dog friendly! Overall, extremely pleased - the best food/atmosphere in the area with fantastic service!!
