We have the best professional bands every Friday, Saturdays and Sundays plus open mic every Monday. All you need to do is come in and make yourself.
Bert & Victoria and the team are excellent hosts. A proper old boozer the likes of which are fading into history, but this one is very much alive. Popular with locals but not clique and very welcoming to strangers. You're struggle to find a better welcome in Hove.
Not many of these kind of pubs left. Clearly serves a community, plenty of regulars but the atmosphere is welcoming and bar staff brilliant and super friendly. Didn't eat but the crisps were delicious! Will be back.
What a quirky pub - one of the last few remaining in Brighton. It has the "frog in the hole" game and feels very snug and homely inside.
I appreciate the music and the effort management trying ti achieve through entertainment. HOWEVER , I had bad experience from the bar tender with folded head like a pirate man, he is and explorer , goes around with the car machine and when see you dress well presuming that you are rich and not bothered. And ask you to pay again claiming the card didn’t go through. I paid cash to the other bar tender lesbian. And I did not use card so here you go right on scam. A person was pretending to be a manger. Finally I found out he is not. Be careful with that pub. No is slightly normal. They just want to get you and your money. Who is the manager? We never know. They are all in it it’s a big scam. Ladies going around collecting money for the band. It’s all big scam. Management should pay the band. Stay away from that place.
A proper traditional British pub with a great atmosphere and a very friendly neighborhood local vibe to it. They have live music regularly, which I've heard is always great and draws a crowd. Big thanks to Bertie & Victoria for making this gem shine 🙌 a new favourite for sure x
