Friendly and relaxed. Good old pub run by really great staff who are very attentive when you need them to be. Wanted to walk to it with my family and mum on Christmas day to have a drink and get mum out to do something different ( She will mostly just keep in the kitchen and not join in) Not to be though as it is only for regulars who have a ticket. Shame as we were looking forward to it, but we understand they have to control the nos on the day (Mum is local but we are not) Worth a look though on any normal day.

This is a lovely old fashioned community pub with a lovely old fashioned saloon bar, the beer's well kept and everyone is so friendly... definitely worth a visit!
Been drinking here for 19 years now! Amazing pub, not a weather spoon! Run by a lovely, kind hearted man, very very professional! Best pub lunch any were! Come try it!
